The Trafalgar Way is the route from Falmouth to London taken by the messenger bringing the news of victory at Trafalgar, and the death of Admiral Lord Nelson.
FdK has been working with the team who are promoting the Trafalgar Way for the last 2 years and have already created branding, website and promotional materials.
We were asked to develop an Ordnance Survey-style printed map, showing the full length of the route, along with relevant facts and figures relating to the route, the key characters involved, and the era in which the journey was made.
It included a lot of detailed research, sourcing of images and creation of maps, but the final result, printed by the same printer that produced OS maps is fantastic and works not just as a practical map, but also as an educational and appealing poster!
