Consult Hyperion are Guildford-based specialist consultants in IT within the financial sector, with a long track record of over 30 years.
They were concerned that their branding and web presence were not communicating the core values of their business or appealing to the changing audience for their services.
They initially felt that a new logo would be the primary need, but FdK proposed a Design Thinking workshop to reveal the understanding of current and future client audiences and their changing needs in the very fast-moving world of financial IT and security.
The session revealed that the client base was moving from a few, larger, established organisations with an inherent understanding of the financial IT sector and CHYPs place in it, to one with an increasing number of smaller, younger organisations with less understanding of the industry, but an interest in new directions and technologies.
We recommended an evolution of their branding that would retain a strong link to their long experience and reputation, whilst communicating a more dynamic and changing outlook.
The website structure was completely changed, to remove a lot of dormant content and provide clear user journeys focused on key current and new customer types - with a lot more 'you' and a lot less 'we' messaging!
